The Story
Single malt, single cask, unchillfiltered, 46% Cornish Whisky.
Our second single cask release was created with Black Flag Brewery based in Perranporth, Cornwall. They created a stunning English pale ale using 100% pale malt and Nottingham yeast. The beer was triple distilled on Tuesday, 4th June 2019, by our Head Distiller, Balazs Schieber, using the largest of our stills, Jackson. The distillate was then aged in a bourbon cask in the shadow of St Michael's Mount.
The result is a truly stunning, smooth and flavorful Cornish Whisky. The full experience is akin to enjoying a pale ale with a bourbon chaser!
